Travel Team Costs

All tuition payments are non-refundable

NYH has projected the costs for each age level for the full year and, at time of registration, will collect a portion of the overall tuition.  There will be additional payments due during the course of the season.  You will receive an email reminder to process the payments.  The payments will not be processed automatically as NYH does not hold onto credit card information.  Each family will need to process their payments in a timely manner for their player to stay eligible to participate in practices and games.

NYH reserves the rights to adjust the final payment if necessary to cover any unexpected costs. Based on our projections, it is anticipated that there will be no increase in fees for the 2026/27 season.  These fees are based on our projections for next season based on past experience, current costs, and the assumptions that ice fees and league fees may increase for the upcoming season.  

NOTE: This does not include costs of tournaments or other team costs. Teams will still need to have a treasurer to deal with any outside costs for tournaments, Playdown games, etc.. This also doesn't include the cost of game jerseys, as we use a self-service vendor for ordering jerseys.

Full time Travel Goalies will continue to receive a discount (Cost of $1,000 for the season). Travel Goalies will be charged:

·      $225 try-out fee due upon registration

·      $200 on April 1

·      $200 on June 1

·      $200 on July 1

·      $175 on September 1

Registration fee aligned to major costs

• 85%  - League fees, tryout costs, ice, and skills
• 15% - NYH operating costs, coaches equipment, socks, and practice jersey

NYH offers assistance to those in need. Please complete the NYHA Financial Aid Application and submit to president@nyha.org.

Registration- NON-REFUNDABLE PAYMENT

I acknowledge and understand that the registration fee is not a deposit, but a financial commitment to Needham Youth Hockey and is non-refundable. I acknowledge and understand that any refund requests must be made to the NYH president in writing and refund decisions will be made by the NYH board in accordance with the refund policy listed in the documents section of the NYH website. Refunds are limited to players moving from the area or suffering season ending injury. No refunds will be granted for players choosing to play on a different team instead of Needham.
